I’ve always had trouble remembering to take my makeup off each night, and I know that I’m not alone! According to Dr. Gross, failure to remove your makeup is the number one beauty mistake women make. I thought I had it all figured out with EZ4Us — until they got discontinued. I’ve used up all my hoarded packettes already, so while I wait until the new version of EZ4Us make their way onto the scene in early 2014, I’ve been on the hunt for a substitute cleanser.
I’ve never been too into face washes because not only have many left my skin imbalanced, but they’ve also failed to fully remove my makeup. I wear a lot of eye makeup, especially ultra black mascara and liner, so I tend to come out of the shower looking like a sad raccoon. Not anymore! I recently tried our newly reformulated all-in-one cleanser with toner (in its sleek n’ sassy packaging) and was pleasantly surprised.
If you loved our product before the reformulation, not to worry! The only changes were increased levels of antioxidants and a richer texture, and I know that you’ll love it as much as I did. I used it in my shower last night, and the creamy wash lathered nicely, left my skin moisturized but not greasy, and ACTUALLY removed all of my makeup, waterproof eyeliner included. I gently rubbed it into my eyelashes (eyes closed, of course) with my fingertips, making little circles, and rinsed it off – and not a trace of makeup was left behind. Plus, it contains Hyaluronic Acid, Vitamins A, C and E, and Açai Fruit Extract to keep skin looking firm, supple, and youthful. Adding this product to my repertoire is basically a no-brainer.
Did you know?: Dr. G recommends applying face wash to a dry face using dry hands for more thorough cleansing. I haven’t tried this yet but I can’t wait to see the results!
