We’re pretty transparent about what ingredients we use here at Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare™, but just because I know what’s in our products doesn’t mean I know what they all do! I figured that I’m not alone on this — I tend to focus on immediate results of a product than think about the science behind how it works. Because of this, I decided to start this feature on the blog – Ingredient Corner! If you have a particular ingredient you’d like to know more about, comment and I’ll see what I can do. So without further ado…Licorice!
Premature skin aging is something that’s started to keep me up at night. Maybe it’s working here, but I subject my skin to way more scrutiny than I used to. My biggest concern? My eye area. I make tons of ridiculous facial expressions, squint because my vision isn’t that great, and tug at the corners of my eyes when applying eyeliner (not to mention stay up too late too often).
I can be super forgetful about applying skincare products – which is why the ease and convenience of Alpha Beta® is so great for me — but I never forget to smooth Ferulic + Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum around my whole eye, including eyelids, before I go to bed. It targets surface-level imperfections (such as crepiness and uneven texture), and deeper issues, like fine lines and wrinkles, all wrapped up in one product. Best part? It’s ophthalmologist-approved, so it’s safe for me, a contact lens-wearer, to use. It’s not irritating at all, which was one of my biggest concerns before starting a retinol product, and it even helps my eyeshadow last longer.
Not convinced yet? Check out these study results. In an independent consumer study:
- 93% of participants agreed that the fine lines around their eye area were diminished after three weeks of use.
- 92.9% of participants noticed an improvement in texture around their eye area in just two weeks.
- 84.6% of participants said that the product appeared to brighten their entire eye area, creating a more youthful-looking appearance after three weeks of use.
What are your eye-area concerns? Have you tried Ferulic + Retinol Triple Correction Eye Serum?
